Steve Fizdale is President and Chief Executive Officer of Creative Design Concepts, Inc., located in Simi Valley, California. The firm specializes in full service turnkey design, specification, purchasing and installation of interior furnishings for timeshare resort properties, hotels and restaurants. The company also provides full remodel construction services.
Under his guidance, Creative Design Concepts has earned numerous industry awards for excellence in design which include gold ARDA awards for the conversion of the Lady Luck Vacation Club in Las Vegas in 2004, the renovation of the Maui Schooner resort in 2003, and the Sedona Summit Resort in 1997. Among the many silver ARDA awards are such resorts as Grandview At Las Vegas 2006 finalist, Lehigh Resort 2006 finalist, San Diego Country Estates, Casitas Del Monte in Palm Springs, Palm Springs Tennis Club, Rancho Manana in Arizona, and Tahoe Seasons in South Lake Tahoe
Steve Fizdale has been involved in the Vacation Ownership and Hospitality industries for over 25 years. He is an active member of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) and is a frequent contributor to Developments Magazine.
He is a graduate of the California State University at Northridge (CSUN) in accounting and business administration. Steve has a strong general contracting background, having spent his first 10 years after college working in the family construction business. He is married 44 years and has two children.
Steve has been a leader in the establishment of industry quality standards for interior furnishings and continues to work with many developers and management companies, helping them establish such standards for their operations. He believes in and is fully committed to an exceptional level of service and value for his clients reflecting the company philosophy: “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.”
Daniel Fizdale

Daniel Fizdale is the Vice-President of Finance at Creative Design Concepts, Inc. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California Lutheran University.
Daniel has been with Creative Design Concepts, Inc. since it was originally established in 1992 and has held a variety of positions. Previously, he served as accounting manager from 1994 through 2000 and then as controller from 2001 through 2006. Daniel has nearly 20 years of finance and accounting experience. He is responsible for financial and strategic planning, management reporting, as well as overseeing operations. He is also responsible for accounting, tax planning, tax reporting, internal audit functions and is the plan administrator for Creative Design Concepts, Inc. 401k plan.
CHERYL TURNAGE

Ms. Turnage is a FIDER accredited Interior Designer with over 25 years of experience in the Hospitality Design field. After graduating from the University of South Carolina and the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art Studio and Interior Design, Cheryl began her career designing Resort properties, including Hotels, Timeshare properties, Golf Club communities and Senior Living facilities. She has completed branded properties for Marriott, Embassy Suites, Residence Inn, Hilton, Homewood Suites, Divi Resorts and many other privately held properties throughout the United States and the Caribbean Islands.
Ms. Turnage has received awards from ASID, ARDA, IIDA, NAHB and has been published in “Hospitality Design” and “Design” magazines. Having worked on the East Coast for One Design Center, Design Associates and Pamela Temples Interiors, Cheryl relocated to California approximately 9 years ago.
Cheryl is an active member of ASID, a member of NEWH, and is a certificate holder of the NCIDQ. She recently completed her studies in Textile and Surface Design at Otis College of Art and Design.
THERESA BAUTISTA
Interior Designer
Creative Design Concepts
Theresa Bautista is a valued member of the design team at Creative Design Concepts. She is a skilled AutoCAD technician, also generating 3D computer models as well as hand renderings. Theresa’s duties include specification of FF&E items as they relate to the Hospitality Industry.
She has seven years of experience in the Interior Design field which include Model Home Design working at Creative Design Consultants in Costa Mesa, CA, working for an Art Director in set design for TV shows/Concerts and also as an employee of Ikea as an Interior Designer/Visual Merchandiser, designing and implementing room settings in store with focus on current trends. Theresa is a graduate of Brooks College located in Long Beach, California.
Theresa’s responsibilities include Design, Space Planning and the preparation of Design Presentations, Specifications and Resource Management.
RACHEL ROSENFELD
Vice-President Operations
Creative Design Concepts, Inc.
Rachel Rosenfeld is Vice-President of Operations for Creative Design Concepts Inc. Her responsibilities include overseeing and managing all projects with respect to purchasing, expediting, logistics, shipping collaboration, deliveries, installations, and project quality control. Rachel is also in charge of ongoing communication with clients during the course of the project through project completion.
Rachel has been with Creative Design Concepts, Inc. since 1996 and has been involved in the hospitality industry since 1986. Rachel was previously employed by Wall Pride in the 1980s as a Customer Service Representative, before accepting the position of Operations Manager of the Model Home Division at Design 1. Her career now spans 22 years in the Industry.
Rachel enjoys personal interface with clients and vendors. She is a native Californian who loves animals and helping animals in need.
